The Defence Industry Skills Unit (DISU) is an initiative of the Western Australian Government.

DISU aims to ensure that the State’s growing defence industry receives a sustainable supply of skilled workers both to meet existing obligations and to place it in a position to win future Defence contracts.

DISU is led by a Board representative of WA’s defence industry, related associations, local government and the education and training sector, ensuring that its strategies are both timely and industry relevant.

DISU provides a facility for defence industry to control its own labour supply destiny.
